Metallic Finishes in the BOLLU Collections

A metallic finish draws attention to part of a piece through reflected light and the character of its surface. In it complements burl veneer and a marble insert; in other designs, it is used on a base or decorative surface. The application is described on each product page.

Reflections connect a surface with the light around it and reveal changes in relief. A metallic finish can give emphasis to a base or a single plane while allowing wood and other materials to retain their character. Coatings and decorative details vary by design.

Does a metallic finish mean the piece is made of metal?

No. A metallic finish is a surface treatment. The body material and any separate brass details are listed in the specifications for each design.
