Shion captures the moment a flock of cranes recedes towards the horizon. Thousands of fine, hand-painted dots create depth and a sense of air, as though the birds’ flight continued beyond the cabinet fronts. A brief movement in an otherwise still landscape becomes the heart of the piece.
